My Uncle Ian suffered from Muscular Dystrophy for most of his life which not only affected him but also the quality of life of my grandparents, who dedicated their lives to looking after him. Unfortunately, he died at the age of 50 before both of my grandparents who did not outlive him by long. I've promised myself I'd do something to help the work of the Muscular Dystrophy campaign since then to try and help other families that suffer similarly. By doing this run I'm hoping to raise some money whilst also losing a few inches of chub! Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
