My story
Hey Guys,
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Sunshine On You was written in December 2008 when my dad lost his battle to cancer. I co-wrote the song with my best friend, whose mum was also suffering from the terrible disease. Now, four years on, I am releasing it as a charity single to raise money for the Joshua Foundation; which provides support and special experiences for children who have been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
On Easter Friday this year I was invited by the charity to attend 'Breakfast with the Easter Bunny' and from the moment I arrived I knew that everyone's focus was on celebrating life, sharing quality time and having fun. The children that I met were incredibly inspiring as were their families. One little girl in particular called Charlotte told me that she wants to be a singer, and she captured my heart when she sang Adele's 'Someone like you'. It was an honour and a privilege to be with so many amazing families and children like Charlotte, each with a dream, which with your help we can fulfill.
Please join me on my mission to raise as much as I possibly can for the charity and for children like Charlotte, who deserve to have it all. Every sale of this track will go to the Joshua foundation to help make dreams a reality xxx

Joshua's Wish

Joshua's Wish provides a helping hand for children diagnosed with terminal cancer, and their families. It was created by Sarah Cornelius-Price on September 5, 1998, named after her son Joshua who died in 1998 aged seven after a two year battle with Desmoplastic Round Cell Tumour of the abdomen.
