Story

The Challenge

Fraserburgh Lighthouse to Mull of Galloway Lighthouse is the challenge that Jack, Norman, Lorna, and Carol Hills are about to start a Charity bike ride on the 1st Aug and will take 5 days to complete, A distance of 360 miles across Scotland the first day see us peddling from Fraserburgh to Braemar about 90 miles, the following day we will set out over Glen Shee towards Pitlochery stopping over night in Aberferldy the third day will see us eventually at Loch Lomond, The forth day is the most feared day as we will have to navigate through Glasgow over the Clyde and down towards Ayr and on to Girvan, On Friday our last day it’s down to the Mull of Galloway.

Why

Fraserburgh is the most North easterly point of Scotland and Mull of Galloway is the most south westerly and most southerly point of Scotland

PS

Jeanette was planning to ride but unfortunately Donald (Jeanette’s husband) has just been through a big operation and has had to pull out, therefore there is a room for another rider and a car and driver to help get us back home, so if anybody would like to come along, please contact Jack
