My story

We would like to thank all that have sponsored us for this event. We had a great time undertaking the challege and we are extremely gratefull of the donations allowing us to reach our target raised.

Below is a little summary of the first few days riding. Also on the left a video of this.

We will be stopping at;

19th Penzance - st Just:
Should have been 9 miles ended up taking 25. saw a pirate rock band. drank beer.

20th Land's End - Golant:
Rode down to land's end to get picture by sign. Set off. lots of up hill. Arrived at golant after a long trek down a rough track. huge house swarming with germans. Free ceasar salad felt like the shining. Went to bed and could hear the germans singing oasis songs round campfire.

21st Golant - North Tawton

Lots of hills. Really hot. Entered devon today. Staying with friends. Had an awesome time and really well looked after. Spent the evening crashing an escort round a field untill it got stuck in a hedge.

22nd North Tawton - Cheddar
Hilly start with a trip to the phamacy for knee support as had issues the previous day. Got going and entered sommerset. Hills got more spaced out and sun warmer. reached the rolling hills near glastonbury and got a good pace going. saw some more swans. Arrived in cheddar and spend ages trying to find a pub. one found got a gorge best in and played darts. I (luke) won. yey.
80 Miles

23rd Cheddar - Welsh Bicknor

Extremely hot start. I sent us up cheddar gorge which was a really long tiring climb. We then came back down another gorge at 40ish mph and realise we have 2 coppers following us once we go to  bottom. Good ride to bristol but once there is dragged for 20 miles untill we got to the severn bridge which was very wobbely. Moved swiftly through the dump that is chepstow and into the welsh (kinda) forrests. Had to walk a dodgy path to get to hostel. Big old house with plenty to keep us entertained.
70 Miles

24th Welsh Bicknor - Clun Mill

Steady day today. No rush to get there. Stopped at morrisons at thats bout it. not much happened on ride. Hostel nice in middle of nowhere. Full of weird people. Go invited to a wedding of two 19  year old. Dont want to go though. Headed to the pub.

We have decided to do this for the Alzheimer's Association. We realised that this was something that many people that we know are suffering with and therefore the most suitable charity to support.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Alzheimer's Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
