We are an appeal of the ICR and raise funds to make the discoveries that defeat cancer

Story

We are 10 guys, aged 22-25, taking on Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania on 13th December 2009.

Our first target is to raise £5895 - that's £1 for every metre above sea level all the way to the summit - 5,895 metres at the Uhuru Peak.

We have found a great charity so please help us raise awareness and funds for Everyman. Everyman's mission is to stamp out male cancer. We can achieve this by making everyone recognise the tell-tale signs, and understand the importance of treating them. By increasing this awareness we also hope to raise money to fund their life-saving research.

Kilimanjaro is the tallest mountain in Africa and the world's highest free-standing mountain

The trip is 100% funded personally by ourselves. All donations will be going to Everyman.

Everyman is an appeal run by The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR). Every year some 10,000 men lose their lives to prostate cancer and over 2,000 others have their world turned upside down by a diagnosis of testicular cancer. These men are the reason we are fundraising for male specific cancers.
