Story

10 days... 10 surf destinations... 10 years later

Let me explain... Jim and Scotty started surfing together 10 years ago. From that first wave they caught together on a cold winter’s day on the north coast of Devon, they knew they’d be sharing many more waters together. Their surf trips quickly became regular occurrences and they would religiously follow the Low Pressure storm rider guide around the UK like it was their bible. They always said that one day they would go on a journey, one that could be written about, in the hope that others would follow their “bible.”

This year is the year they are making it happen!

Jim and Scotty have picked 10 surf spots around every coast of the UK with a route covering just short of 2000 miles and the plan is to complete the circuit in 10 days. But here’s the crazy bit – they’re doing this journey the ECO way, getting around in only public transport and hitch hiking!

As well as this being an epic adventure for Jim and Scotty, they want some good to come of it, which is why they’re using this opportunity to raise as much money and awareness as possible for Surfers Against Sewage, an environmental campaign group with a mission to rid the UK coastline of sewage.

So far they have backing from a leading action sports camera company, a board shaper, SAS, and Jim’s own company Butta Ltd, who are releasing a fully ECO surf wax this summer!
