Story
Can you help us to make a real difference by helping the homeless back onto their own two feet?
On the 22nd September 2012, Vince Holt, Chris Downes, Catherine Fleming and Andy Dutch are to take on the gruelling “Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge” to raise money for Barnabus; a Manchester Homeless Charity who offer a lifeline to around 500+ visiting homeless and vulnerable people each week.
We will be pushing ourselves to the limits by attempting to climb the summits of: Pen-y-ghent (694 metres / 2,276 feet), Whernside (736 metres / 2,415 feet), Ingleborough (723 metres / 2,372 feet) as part of a circular 25 mile walk, and to complete all of this in less than 12 hours!!
It would be great if you could help us?. No one should be without a home or hungry on our streets, Yet there are presently 15,000 homeless in the northwest. Your support will ensure Barnabus can offer a lifeline to those in desperate need.
Please donate whatever you can and encourage us all with your messages as we train for this gruelling event.
Barnabus have received the 'unsung heroes' Queens award for Voluntary Service, but do not receive any government funding, they rely entirely on donations.
Donating through JustGiving is totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving, they’ll never sell them on or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure 25% Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
Thanks you so much for helping :o)
