Welcome to your new improved fundraising page. Find out what's changed and why.

What's new?

  1. The new header makes it much easier to see all the fundraising info at a glance. Plus, the page can now be shared to more social networks to encourage more people to give.
  2. The charity information is much more prominent, highlighting the cause you’re supporting.
  3. The new gallery makes it easier to see the images and video.
  4. Dedicated sections show the teams and companies you’re part of, emphasising the fundraising community you belong to.

What's coming?

The new design will also allow us to introduce some great features very soon to help you tell your fundraising story, like page updates, themes and a new page summary. Read all about these and other upcoming changes on our blog.

My story

LATEST UPDATE - June 2011

Since our last update we've continued to raise money for WNAA with collection tubs at the airfield and in the Joseph Arch pub. Now eBay sales are generating some additional donations too. Very many thanks for your donations.

19th November 2008

On Friday 14th November, Mark, James and Ian left Taunton on their bikes. On Sunday 16th, the crew of WNAA and Rob also left from the place where Graham died in Taunton, to finish the remainder of his cycle ride. Howling wind, driving rain and broken bikes & vehicles could not prevent them completing his challenge as they cycled down that last long hill into Land's End on Tuesday.  Graham would be very proud to know he touched so many people's lives and that his fund-raising efforts would continue in his name - to help those who need the assistance of the Air Ambulance.

So please do still sponsor Graham and follow future fundraising events in his memory on  www.justgiving.com/2008jogle

Very many thanks for your continuing support.

October 2008

The crew from WNAA have been given the family's blessing after expressing a wish to complete Graham's challenge as a tribute to him. A team of 12 will leave their Base on Sunday 16th November and plan to arrive in Land's End on Tuesday morning. This will include Doctors and paramedics from the team and Rob Kittler, a friend of Graham. The crew would welcome additional donations (to  www.justgiving.com/2008jogle) to help keep this vital life-saving service flyingwww.wnaa.co.uk

STOP PRESS

Graham Lees, Managing Director of Cotswold Lifts died on the final days of his John O’ Groats to Lands End charity cycle ride to raise funds for the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.

With many years experience in the lift industry and with a First degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters degree in Lift Engineering he will be sorely missed by family, friends and colleagues. Not least for his irreverent sense of humour.

His interests were many – including flying, motor biking and raising money for charity – he was very proud to have raised £10,000 in 2006 For Breast Cancer Care a cause very close to home.  He leaves a widow and two teenage children.

In 2006 Graham did the trip from Lands End to John O'Groats, solo, for Breast Cancer Care (www.justgiving.com/grahamlees) this page is now closed - see current page below.  The total raised was close to £10,000.  It was a worthwile and life changing experience for him, as well as a lot of help for an organisation that was very supportive to someone very close to his heart - his wife Celeste.  The final story on this trip is available as a PDF, www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~kroberts/barford/pdf/graham_lees.pdf

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor : Warwickshire And Northamptonshire Air Ambulance will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please do still sponsor Graham - www.justgiving.com/2008jogle

Many thanks for your support.
