Hello you kind and beautiful people!

Seeing as you've got this far, you should have a rough idea what The 5 Peaks Challenge is all about, but if not, here goes:

On Monday 14th of June 2010 Adam Chambers and myself, Oliver Millington, set off on a MASSIVE expedition. For 60 days, we will be kayaking between and climbing the 5 Highest Peaks, in each of the constituent countries of the UK and ROA, raising money for Cancer Research UK.

In doing so, we will be the first team to complete the challenge entirely by manpower (no assistance from gears or cars etc.) and will be setting a new record, that we hope to beat each year untill we deem to have raised enough money to make the whole thing worthwhile.

Obviously, we need your money. Simple as. Absolutely anything will be really greatfully recieved, we don't believe in putting fundraising targets, or letting you choose from a list of donation options, if you gave us a penny, we'd still give you a big grin and a thank you because its ALL for a good cause and everything makes a difference.

There is a lot more information on our website, www.the5peakschallenge.com , and we will be updating the blog on there daily while on the trip if you wish to follow our progress, after the challenge we will be entering a film into the Kendal Mountain Film festival, with the intention of raising awareness for the Challenge next year.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help by donating, or if you cant afford to donate, show us some love and send a good luck message, and pass this link on to someone who can.

Adam and I have just got back from our first proper treaining expedition, attempting an anglesey circumnavigation. regrettably we were hampered by weather and the coastguard advised us to not head out past the skerries, but it is definitely a trip we will be repeating again in the future, some of the people we met and sights we saw were absolutely amazing. please point as many peple as you can in the direction of this page!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
