30/10 - We made it!!! Gale force winds, torrential rain, snow atop Ben Nevis and a broken down bus couldn't hold us back. Thanks to everyones support and generosity in helping us reach a truly astonishing total : )

14/10 - To further encourage donations we are inviting you to recommend rock star costumes for any individual doing the event - larger donations will go a long way to making sure that your requests are fulfilled!

On the weekend of the 22/23 of October, eleven exceptionally unfit and remarkably naïve young men will attempt the National 3 Peaks Challenge. Hopefully summiting Ben Nevis in Scotland (4,409 ft), Scafell Pike in England (3,209 ft) and Snowdon in Wales (3,560 ft) in under 24 hours, a remarkable feat for even the most seasoned climber.
We are raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care - a charity very close to our hearts given the incredible support they provided Joel’s family during his father Edward's battle with cancer. We have seen first-hand the exceptional work carried out by Marie Curie nurses at grass roots level, not only providing the best possible care for terminally ill patients in the comfort of their own home, but also supporting the broader families. Edward, like many Marie Curie patients, had a special connection with the nursing team that helped care for him and always greeted them with his big smile. We've all been inspired to support this special cause and urge you to be as generous as possible.
Despite typical British forecasts and pleas from our mothers we have scheduled our climb for the end of October. By all accounts we should encounter torrential rain, gale force winds and heavy snow. Nevertheless, if we manage to raise over £40,000 we will be completing our challenge in fancy dress, obviously given the nature of the challenge we have chosen ‘ROCK Stars’ as our theme - expect florescent leggings, tie-dye shirts, rock n roll wigs and a wide assortment of outlandish accessories.
We ask that you all open your heart’s up wide, your wallets even wider and donate generously to this amazing cause. In return, we promise regular updates throughout our training and climb, a number of hilarious photos but most importantly that your donations will allow Marie Curie Cancer Care to continue their fantastic work.
Thank you in advance for your support!
