Richard House, London's first children's hospice, provides care and support to children who are not expected to live into adulthood, as well as to their families. Its team of nurses and care staff make the time children spend at the house fun, active and therapeutic.

My story

The Three Peaks Challenge in support of Richard House Children’s Hospice

Please join Adelina, Tapas, Marissa, Roshan, Simon, Danny, Ivan and Oliver in supporting Richard House children’s hospice. We are seeking to raise £5000. The hospice provides care and support for life-limited children and children with complex healthcare conditions and their families. They accompany the child’s journey through life to death, creating positive experiences along the way which become good memories for the future.

To raise money for this fantastic cause, we will be attempting the Three Peaks Challenge, September 19^th – 20^th, 2009 which involves climbing the three highest peaks, respectively, in England, Wales and

Scotland

The Peaks are:

Scotland

To quote the challenge’s official website,

“those who are brave, noble, or just plain stupid, try to do all 3 within the space of 24 hours”

That is exactly what we are going to do. To quote further,

“The effort required to complete the National 3 Peaks cannot be under estimated. The lack of proper sleep, food and comfort does take its toll on people of all ages.”
