As a mature student myself, I have enjoyed doing new things like learning to sail but not everyone has that kind of opportunity .. which is why I am doing this ride.  Richard, my youngest has asked if he can come as he just enjoys cycling and would like to do something like this having done other cycling fundraisers with me.

It's been almost two years since I did the end 2 end, so we need get back to doing some serious training.  Once my end of year university exams are over, I will be cycling to all the schools that I will be delivering Bikeability to, which will serve very nicely to get me in shape whilst Richard prefers to use the gym. 

Please however, think of those who don't have the opportunity to enjoy a healthy and enjoyable activity and spare a few pennies for them?  Particuarly this year with two horrendous earthquakes in the Caribbean and South America as well as on the other side of the Pacific in Indonesia.  So many people become displaced and the children are the ones who are most vulnerable and need our help and support.
