We did it!!
We completed the British 10k for One World Action!
Wooooohoooo!
On the day, Jo and I both crossed the finish line in under an hour, hot, shattered and a bit wet from the rain but very happy to have run all 10km each!
Sadly Tri couldn’t take part, although we reckon a stress fracture to the ankle is a fair excuse and she did a fantastic job instead providing moral support from the sidelines!
Although the race is over, we still need your help to raise as much money as we can for One World Action.
We’re trying to help some of the world’s poorest people in Asia, Africa and Latin America to transform their lives for the better so please give generously….
Every £ you give in sponsorship really does make a difference as you can see from the kinds of things your donation could help provide -
£60 will provide physiotherapy for 12 disabled children in El Salvador
£40 will buy cement and mixing gravel to build a well in the Philippines
£20 will provide fresh water for 200 people in Angola
But don’t just take my word for it, find out more for yourself here –
