Dreams Come True is a UK children’s charity whose sole purpose is to fulfil the dreams of terminally and seriously ill children and young people aged 2 to 21. In the last twenty years we have helped make over 3500 dreams come true and as a result debilitating illness, painful treatment and an uncertain future have been transformed with happiness, fun and wonderful, everlasting memories. You can make a world of difference by helping us make more dreams become a reality. If we can find a way to make a dream come true we will as we believe the only limit is a child’s imagination.

My story

THREE IS THE MAGIC NUMBER

1. April = London Marathon (26 miles through the streets of London)

2. July = UK Three Peaks in 24 hrs (run up and down Snowdon, Ben Nevis + Scafell Pike, the three highest mountains in the UK, within 24 hours)

3. September = UK Ironman (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26 mile run - the ultimate endurance triathlon)

'Dreams Come True' is a wonderful charity based in Midhurst, the town in which I teach. By completing the 3 challenges outlined above, I am asking you to donate 33p, £3.33, £33.33 (or if you are feeling bold £333.33 !). In return I will run the London marathon ( in under 3 hours considering 3 is the magic number ), run up the 3 highest mountains in the UK (and drive between them) in under 24 hrs, and then complete the ultimate of tri's, The Ironman.
