Welcome to the Challenge!!

COMPLETE!!

Well, we made it to the top of all three mountains.  Unfortunately, mostly due to traffic, we did not manage to complete the whole trip within 24 hours.  :-(

Annoyingly, it happened to be the hottest weekend of the year so far which meant the great British public were out in force towing their lumbering caravans on our roads, particularly bad between Scafell Pike and Snowdon which was a shame.

However, we have taken some pictures and these will be available very soon!

Pete :-)

Final Preparations

Only a few days to go now until the big beginning!  In recent news, Pete has bought walking trousers (but will take them off at the summit of each mountain if anyone donates £75 or more!!)....Debbie is being Irish and organisting T-shirts....Sheepy (Chris Brown) is worried that the T-shirts are made from his cousins and children....Chris Rodd Sex God is being a d*ck.

End of news - check out what the challenge is about below!!

Hokay, so here's the deal:

3 Peaks
3 Countries
24 Hours
500 Miles
8 Walkers
2 Cars
2 Drivers

Starting from Fort William at the foot of Ben Nevis, Britain's highest mountain, at 5:00pm on Friday 29 May, climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike (England's tallest mountain) and finishing on Snowdon (Wales' tallest mountain) by 5:00pm on Saturday 30 May.  This includes all walking, sleeping, eating and driving in between!

We are doing it for a few reasons: for the undoubtedly average banter; for the uncomfortable journey between mountains; and for the chance to be real geographers on real mountains once more!

Along the way, we thought we would try and raise a little money for charity.  It's a tough challenge and one we really aren't prepared for!  None of us have completed it or even attempted it before, so we would really love your sponsorship to help push us to complete the challenge in as quick a time as possible!

So, thanks so much for visiting our fundraising page.  You'll see some info about CANtreat on the left.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: CANtreat Limited gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!
