On the weekend of the 13 and 14 June 2009 Hammonds' trainees from accross the 4 UK offices will go head to head in attempting the daring and deadly National Three Peaks Challenge.
The brave adventurers will have to scale the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales, a combined climb of over 3400m in just 24 hours.
The challenge starts on the Saturday afternoon at Ben Nevis, the highest peak in Britain. After a tiring climb, the trainees will drive 7 hours overnight to ascend Scafell Pike as the sun rises. No time for resting weary feet, as it is straight to Wales to climb Snowdon, before the 24 hour time limit is up.
Sleep-deprived, mentally exhausted, wind-lashed and beset by cramp, the Hammonds' pioneers can only hope for survival.
Willing to put their lives on the line for the prestige of the Leeds office are: Leah Carson, Ryan Carver, Gavin Howarth, Sally Matthews and Natasha Whiddon.
Special mention to Lee McAteer and Rav Saib who have volunteered to drive.
Please support our challenge and help raise money for the Leeds office charity, the Hollybank Trust. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks.
