Story
From 18 May I walked the West Highland Way - a 95-mile, 190,000-step trek from Glasgow to Ben Nevis - to raise money for Midlands Arts Centre, better known as mac.
Each year 10% of Birmingham's citizens visit mac, and over the last 40 years it's fostered talent such as Tony Robinson (Blackadder, Time Team), Adrian Lester (Hustle, Primary Colors), Imelda Staunton (Vera Drake, Harry Potter) and Mike Leigh (Abigail's Party, Secrets & Lies).
mac is closed for a £14.8m rebuild at the moment but will reopen in 2010. We've already raised over £14.4m towards the costs, but need your help to raise the final £330k.
It's not too late to support this walk and help reach my target. PLEASE HELP.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: mac gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you for your support!
