I wanted to do this hike for years. I done 100s of trails over the years and last year i walked 2424km and climbed 61208 meters in 26 days 15 hours 10 mintues 14 seconds over 104 days with 2 backpacks avoiding roads from John o' groats to lands end on just one the hikes i did that year. So after my John O' groats to lands end hike i found out i had Plantar Fibromatosis on the bottom of my foot which is a rare tumor which is incurable getting it cut out will just make it come back worse. This will not stop me doing this or other hikes. Its be like having a stone in my boot for the 3000km of the hike. I loved raise £1 per km.
