We have decided to take on a year long challenge this time. ( well 14 months). 

Running a marathon is hard and so is the training but we’ve both done it before and thought a bigger challenge was in order. 

When someone is diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease they face challenges every single day that others can’t imagine. 5000 people are diagnosed in the Uk each year and so we have decided to between us run a kilometre for each and every single one of those people. To raise awareness and funds for research and resources to help find a cure for this cruel life crushing disease. 

As you know this is a personal fight against MND and we appreciate your support every step of the way. Your words of encouragement, your love and if possible your kind donations. 

We are starting from 1st November, with the Portsmouth Coastal marathon in December and the London Marathon 2019. We need to average 11.7km or 7.4 miles a day, everyday until 31.12.19 to complete this challenge. So it’s going to be really tough

I know these days it’s a constant ask for money and we do not ask lightly. We will put in the hours on our feet of between you all you could raise £1 per kilometre. That £1 could be the one that changes everything and gives MND sufferers and their families a second chance.
