My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Myself & 3 colleagues are taking on a 'FIREWALK' challenge on the evening of Friday 27th April at the Manor House Pub/Restaurant in Quorn, Leicestershire.

We are hoping 'mind over matter' will work & we wont be hopping to the bar afterwards!!

Our cause is close to all our hearts as we look after & rehabilitate the animals that arrive here at RSPCA Woodside Animal Centre daily until we can find them 'forever homes', it currently costs us £14.000 a week to run the centre & as we get no government/lottery funding or funds from the national society every penny raised by events such as this really counts

So please dig deep and donate now.

Woodside Animal Centre is the Leicestershire branch of the RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). We promote animal welfare and alleviate unnecessary suffering to the animals of Leicestershire by taking in stray and unwanted animals including animal victims of cruelty. We also aid in the recovery and return of injured wildlife to their habitats. <p> Approximately 3,500 animals are cared for each year at a cost of £14,000 per week. We are completely self-funded and receive no money from the government, National Lottery or national society. Our only income comes from the generosity and support of the people of Leicestershire, to whom we are eternally grateful.
