Hello, my name is Adam Herrington, I am 21 years old and live in Lowestoft, Suffolk. On October 16th 2010 I will be travelling to Tanzania and getting involved with some volunteering work at a school in Moshi, a small town at base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Once I have completed my volunteering, I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in a 5-day trek which will challenge me physically and mentally. Mount Kilimanjaro is located in the North East of Tanzania on the border with Kenya. Kilimanjaro is actually an extinct volcano geologically associated with the creation of the Great Rift Valley 100km to the west. It is the highest mountain in the world that can be climbed without climbing equipment, towering at a massive 19,340ft.

I am doing this challenge of a lifetime to raise as much money as possible for the Help An East Coast Child charity and it is my target to raise at least £3,100. Every penny raised will go straight to this very worth while charity. So please, give what you can.
