Hi All,
Myself and kieran would like to say a big thank you to all those that have made Donations and supported us on our Sleep Out for Dens @ St. Albans Abbey last Friday Night.
In total the Charity (Dens) has raised more than £5,000 from the event and it is still taking in Sponsor money so that number should continue to rise.
The Night was an experience that I personally couldn’t face every night, you don’t realise how hard that must be to face a Bed of cardboard and a bit of plastic sheeting. We were quite lucky on the night with the cold but the rain was relentless and by 3am it was torrential. No amount of covering up under the plastic cover hold the rain at bay so we spent most of the night sleeping in the wet. But we made it through to 7am to get signed off.

On Friday 2nd December 2011 from 9pm until 7am I and my friend Kieran Thievam will be sleeping rough in the grounds of St.Albans Abbey with around 300-400 others raising money for several Charities. I've never slept rough before and only on a couple of occasions have I slept out in a Tent so this will be an experience that only I can appreciate if done first hand. For some this a reality every night. I take for granted my bed in my warm home and for some this isn't possible.
