I joined RAFA in February this year as the Welfare Manager. After seeing what great work this charity does I wanted to do my bit so to speak! So what better way to that than get my running shoes on run the London marathon! I will be running the marathon with Craig Goodwin who will also be running for team RAFA! After a few half marathons under our belt I think that we are just starting to realise what a mamoth task we have took on!

The RAF Association (RAFA) is a membership organisation of serving and former members of the Royal Air Force, their families and dependants and all those supporting the aims of the Association. It is the largest single-service membership organisation in the United Kingdom and has roughly 74,000 members and 500 Branches in the UK, Europe and further afield. The Association provides help and advice, assistance, comradeship and, where required, welfare and care for the whole RAF family. Check it out at www.rafa.org.uk
