Jubilee Sailing Trust Firewalk 29th October 2009
3rd November - Reflecting on what we achieved
Well after a couple of days I am still feeling amazing.
To have walked across burning coals not once, not twice but three times is amazing.
I have no doubt that this is an experience that will stay with me for the rest of my life. An incredible illustration of how you can achieve a goal if you have belief and focus.
I have posted a number of photos for you to enjoy and also the link to a clip of me actually doing the first walk which has been posted on YouTube.
Again, thank you to everyone that had donated. I know that the Jubilee Sailing Trust and Wessex Cancer Trust will put the money to good use.
Finally a big congratulations to everyone that took part in the walk. A tremendous achievement by all.

Well I've just got back and I have to say WOW, what a fantastic experience. It was an amazing feeling to walk across the burners embers just after they've been measured at 550 degress celsius. Truly incredible.
Thanks to Scott and the team from UK Firewalk for getting us through the evening.
Thanks to Matt and all at JST and the team at WCT for having the courage to put on such a fantastic event.
Sincerely, thank you for the opportunity to experience this and I hope that the funds raised by me as a result of tonight will help to make someone else's life just that little bit better.
Thanks to everyone that has donated.
Finally thanks to Mark for driving this evening and acting as camera man - I'll upload some pictures for you to enjoy in the next day or so and if it comes out ok post some video to YouTube.
Again thanks to everyone,
Adrian
Jubilee Sailing Trust Firewalk - 29th October 2009
I'm really very selfish and doing this for me - I've wanted to do a firewalk for a long time, so when offered the opportunity to do so by JST I couldn't say no. I've covered all that they are hoping for in terms of "sponsorship costs", hence no fundraising target.
So, no appeals for you to "dig deep" or anything, but if you can spare a little to help support a very worthwhile organisation then I will be most grateful for any and every contribution.
So in the words of the great philosopher "Meat Loaf" and one of my 8 year old daughter's favourite songs
Come on! come on!
And there’ll be no turning back
...
And I wanna take you out of the frying pan (and into the fire)
Out of the frying pan (and into the fire)
Out of the frying pan (and into the fire)
And into the fire! fire! fire!
And into the fire! fire! fire!
And into the fire! fire! fire!
And into the fire!
Adrian

I'm walking on sunshine , wooah

Hey , alright now

Ask me again after I've done it and maybe I'll feel differently, but right now I am soooooo looking forward to doing this!
