As you know I am somewhat driven to acheive on a daily basis much to the consternation of others!

I have been involved in raising funds for many charities over the last 28 years through Round Table but never put myself in the firing line of being the one to be sponsored until now. This year the Hammer Bottom Charitable Trust (based very close to me) is raising funds for 3 Charities

What has driven me to do this this year? Dreams Come True which is very close to my heart as I have a brother Simon, whom I never knew but whom compells me to live life to its fullest every day. I always knew something drove me but it was not until I saw his name in the rememberance book at the childrens Chapel at Guildford Cathedral that the penny dropped all those years later. I broke down and had to go for a solo walk for a wee while.............

The idea of walking 38 miles (12-14hours) in one hit is somewhat daunting to say the least and to date through my training I have manged 29 miles in one go, albeit in pain the next day and being terribly flat footed!! If you have followed my facebook page you will have seen many of the beautiful places I have to go past, as well as the hills I have to go over, including the 800ft climb over the South Downs (affectionalty known as heart attack hill) :-)

I know times are tough but if you can donate no matter what amount it would mean the world to me and to Simon.
