My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

The drive for this ongoing fundraiser is to enable small business loans to be given to people in great need living in Kibera Slum, Kenya.

These loans are start-up loans so people can develop and sustain a long-term way of life while living in unimaginable poverty.

Please see http://www.kiberainneed.org/profiles09.php for diect information and KIN's website for much more information than I can offer here. http://www.kiberainneed.org/index.php

The power of the British Pound is massive. Even the smallest sum can make the sort of difference we can scarcely imagine. So, please, give whatever you can afford for a fundraiser offering long-term, sustainable ways of escaping poverty.

Aidan.
