I have now lost 4 stone and reached my target!!!
My consultant is totally thrilled by my progress and I have given up lots of my diabetes pills and injections! I now regularly run 10K twice a weeks and currently in training for the Great South Run (10 miles) and the Bath Half Marathon! Still plenty of time to sponsor me to celebrate my loss!

Having reached the ripe old age of 50 I decided I needed to get fit and lose some weight to try and keep my diabetes under control so I can be around for the next 50 years J
I have joined a gym and started a diet and so far I have lost 1 stone (14 pounds) and 3 inches around my waist. The plan now is to lose another 3 stone.
All money raised goes to Julian House (http://julianhouse.org.uk/) where I can often be found on a Friday cooking lunch for the homeless in Bath as a volunteer.
