Cylce the Isle of Wight · 2 October 2009

Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust funds scientific and clinical research into childhood and adult brain tumours, and offers support and information to patients and their carers. We have been working to improve understanding, diagnosis and treatment of brain tumours since the charity was set up in 1996 by Samantha's parents, Neil and Angela Dickson. We now spend around £1.3 million per year on brain tumour research and support, making us the largest brain tumour charity in the UK.

Story

Hi everyone,

This is event is taking place in memory of our late mother Eileen Stoneham. She passed away 09th November 2007.

Our mother was a very creative, kind natured person who enjoyed to help others. She died from an inoperable brain tumour at the age of 62.

We are raising money for Samantha Dickinson Brain Tumour Trust in the hope of benefiting future suffers.

We have chosen to cycle round the Isle of Wight in one day a distance of roughly 70miles. The Isle of Wight was our mothers favourite place and she was due to retire there within days of passing away.

That's enough of the sad stuff, I hope you can dig as deep as possible so that we can reach a substantial sum of money and make a difference to somebody in the future.

Kind regards

Alex &

Nick Stoneham
