Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Those of you reading this will probably know my story and how i have come to doing what i am doing. Last year, i lost my dear farther after a long battle to cancer. During the final months, i talked to dad about getting myself a new bike and to start getting myself a little fitter.
Now that i have had time to reflect, i have decided to do a bike ride in honour of dad and to raise money to help those who have helped us and to help research cancer.
On Wednesday 04th May 2011, me and a group of friends plan to bike ride from Freckleton in Lancashire, where my father grew up, to Fleckney, Leicestershire, where my father rests in peace today. The plan is to carry out the bike ride over three days and cycle a route of approximately 150 miles. As of yet, i only have a vague route set out, but will be firming this up by the end of march.
I hope any of you reading this will find it in your hearts to sponsor me in my challenge, to help me give back to those who have already been so kind to us.
