For my part in this event, I shall be reading two poems related to the work of the North Herts Citizens Advice Service in some way. Both will deal with topics of inequality and empowerment. Last year, the event was a great success and for me it was the first time I had read poetry for over 30 years. I would therefore encourage others to take part but obviously above all, I am looking for sponsorship for my part in the event. Sponsorship can be as little as £ 10.00 and all proceeds will go to help the North Herts Citizens Advice Service continue its work with benefits, housing, employment and many other issues confronting local people in North Hertfordshire and South Cambridgeshire.
