Alex my son & all those like him with autism need your help to make a difference!
Without your giving we will never find answers to this modern day pandemic of autistic spectrum disorders (ASD's) affecting hundreds of thousands - mostly aged 2-20.
Twenty years ago autism was almost unknown - today almost everyone knows someone with or a family affected by an ASD - autism or asperger syndrome. Official figures now put the incidence at greater than 1:100
All children with an ASD share a triad of impairments in their ability to:
Understand and use non-verbal and verbal communication Understand social behaviour which affects their ability to interact with other children and adults Think and behave flexibly — which may be shown in restricted, obsessional or repetitive activities. Autism Treatment Trust is dedicated to helping individuals with autism reach optimum health and learning. - so please give generously. WWW.AUTISMTRUST.ORG.UK
