Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have a condition called 'CGD' (Chronic Gramalomatus Disorder), which is a genetic blood disease. CGD means that my immune system doesn't quite work properly. In order to cure this condition, I must undergo a bone marrow transplant, this is the only way it can be cured. Before the bone marrow transplant I am given chemotherapy to suppress my immune system so it can be replaced by my brother's healthy bone marrow. My brother Henry is an exact tissue match for me.

There are quite a few side effects of chemotherapy, but one of them is that I lose my hair temporarily. Because I am going to lose my hair anyway, me and my brother Sam have decided to shave our hair off to raise awareness and money for The CGD Society charity, who have supported us brilliantly since the moment I was diagnosed.

So please dig deep if you can donate. Many thanks for your support. Please tell everyone you know so we can make a difference!
