Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Adrian or Big Guy as most of you will know him was always very passionate about the Thames and life on the river. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family and friends on his boat. Later on in his life after he had traded in his much treasured boat keys he found himself dragon boat racing for charity, and discovered he quite enjoyed this too... But our mixed family team never fared very well.
This is where we come in. He always insisted that the boys of the family should step up and try and win for a change. So we have hand picked a crew who have been hard in training over the last few months, ready for the forthcoming battle.
We know that Big Guy would thoroughly approve of this team and it now seems very fitting for us to be able row for him, not only for a charity that is very dear to him but also at the place where he married Mum all those years ago.

This page has been created by Ali, Ashley and family to remember Adrian. Adrian died on 10th August 2009 aged 54, having been diagnosed with a brain tumour in March 2008.
Adrian loved life and all sports, in the last few years of his life he was a season ticket holder for London Wasps. He chose Wooden Spoon as one of his charities because of his love for rugby and also to help young people through sport.
The money already donated was raised at his thanksgiving service and we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who donated.
Adrian.... always loved and never forgotten
