As I am sure you are already aware, I will be travelling to Peru at the beginning of March to undertake my first Social Work placement. I will be working as a volunteer for SKIP, a non-profit organisation, which helps economically-disadvantaged children and families in El Porvenir, Peru. SKIP run so many fantastic projects with the goal of empowering individuals to be the main agents of change in their lives. I need to raise £300 as a contribution towards the SKIP projects and this is why I am asking you for your help! There are lots of other expenses, such as flights and vaccinations, that I am trying to cover with my student loan (and possibly the Bank of Mum and Dad) but this is a bit of a struggle. Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated by myself and everyone involved with SKIP.
