My story

Hello!

I finished the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge yesterday and it was a challenge! It was very windy but cool which helped a lot. I was aiming for a time under 11 hours, so was incredibly pleased when I got back to the Pen-y-Ghent cafe in Horton-in-Ribblesdale in a time of 9 hours and 54 minutes - no double figures!

I'd especially like to thank everyone that kindly sponsored me -knowing that there was £1,522 on the walk (although a bit of a cliche) did spur me on during the final, almost vertical ascent of Ingleborough!! You'll be glad to know that, although it was an amazing experience, I will not be doing it again! Alison
