Hi All. On the 6th September I am running the Great Scottish Run 10k in Glasgow. I will be running to raise money for the National Aids Trust. This is such a great charity and I feel strongly about the work which they do in the UK to help improve the lives of people living with HIV and Aids, fighting the stigma and discrimination lots of people living with HIV and Aids face on a daily basis and fighting for better ways to prevent and test for the disease.
Their motto is " Shaping attitudes, Challenging Injustice, Changing Lives "
Lots more information is available on their website: www.nat.org.uk
Hopefully I will be able to finish the 10k in under an hour but as this is my first race, I will be happy just to get over the finish line, with my friend Lauren motivating me along the way!
Come on everyone, show me your support with the race and help my charity raise much needed funds to continue with their hard work!!
