Fundraising for Arthritis Care – Arthritis Research UK
Story
Ten months ago we decided to embark on our challenge of a lifetime and registered on our first marathon! Why ? Initially we thought its flat, a nice weekend break for the family, a lovely celebratory drink at the end and we would be a size zero!!!! How naïve!!!
After ten gruelling months, up at the crack of dawn on Saturday mornings, plodding round the Wirral, shedding tears of pain, we have now decided to make all our efforts worthwhile. We have chosen Arthritis Care, as the condition of arthritis is close to our hearts, both personally and professionally. Arthritis Care is a voluntary charity which provides support and advice to people and carers of arthritis and a whole range of other services.
