Fundraising for Prisoners' Education Trust

The Prisoners' Education Trust do great work providing access to broader learning opportunities for prisoners enhancing their chances of building a better life after release and thereby reducing reoffending.
They do this through a grants programme which assists over 2,000 prisoners each year to study distance learning courses in subjects and levels not available in prison. PET's mission is to offer prisoners access to, and support for, the widest range of education and training opportunities and to promote the importance of offender education to policy makers and the public.
In a society where social mobility is notoriously low, I believe this is a great cause which can and will make a difference to those who have made wrong choices and who need support in turning their lives around.
