Story
November 17th is prematurity awareness day and Bliss has organised a Little Lights Walk to help raise awareness and funds for their fabulous charity which supports the Families of children who are born premature or sick. My little Sam was born rather unexpectedly 8 weeks early December last year. We spend over 2 and a half weeks in Neonatal in Wishaw General. Having my baby boy in hospital was the hardest experience of my life but with support from the staff at Wishaw, Friends and Family and the Charity Bliss we seen light at the end of the tunnel and soon has our Super Sam home with us for New Year! For us it was definitely a case of New Year, New Beginnings but for many families who have premature or sick babies the stress, worry and struggle can go on for much longer. As a preemie mum I want to do all I can to support my fellow mums and their families by supporting Bliss and joining in on their little lights walk which we will be doing 26th November 2017 with my fellow preemie mum Laura and a whole bunch of our friends and family!!
Please donate what you can and help make a difference to the 95 000 babies born prematurely in the UK each year!!
Love
Amy
