Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We were fortunate enough to visit the elephant orphanage in Kenya this year and see the wonderful work that the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust does (www.sheldrickwildlifetrust.org). We were moved by the tragic stories of the orphaned babies who are both emotionally and physically scarred. Whether it be...
Tumaren - found standing alone next to her dying mother;
Shukuru - rescued at only 3 days old after falling down a manhole after people had stolen the grate to sell for scrap;
Kilaguni - found after being savagely attacked by hyenas covered in cuts, bite marks and no tail;
Maalim - baby rhino found abandoned at only 2 days old whose mother was the victim of suspected poaching.
Please sponsor our run around Greenwich Park on 6th December where we'll be 'cross-dressed' as santa and elephants!!
Please give generously to support the Trust in their hard work to rehabilitate these beautiful animals and their release back into the wild where they belong.
