Centrepoint Sleep Out 2009 · 12 November 2009 ·

Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homeless charity. Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 16-25 year olds into a home and a job every year. Our award-winning helpline provides support to vulnerable young people across the country. We campaign to end youth homelessness by 2037.

Story

Tonight I will be giving up my bed and be sleeping on the streets of London, along with colleagues and friends of Centrepoint, to help raise awareness and funds.

You are all welcome to join me.  I have a spare sleeping bag.

If not, could you be so kind as to donate any spare change you have in your pocket to help to house young people over the Christmas period.

As a bit of background, Centrepoint is a national charity helping homeless young people. Whether they have run away from neglect or abuse to sleep rough, or been thrown out at 16 to fend for themselves, Centrepoint offers safe accommodation and a chance to turn things around with counselling, education and training for life. For more information on Centrepoint please visit: www.centrepoint.org.uk

Thanks,

Andrew
