I was a patient in the Spinal Unit at Salisbury Hospital for 14 months after an accident in 2006. They saved my life. Several times. They showed me that life in a wheelchair can be just as rich as the life I had before. Staff gave me and give others so much to help them through the massive life change that follows spinal cord injury. The Tidworth Fun Run was my first ever wheel/run. I was the first wheelchair user to attempt the 3k cross-country course and despite wind, rain, mud and falling out three times, I managed to finish! The money raised will go to the Stars Appeal for the hospital. It's the least I can do to say thank you to the incredible staff for their extraordinary care and dedication.
