Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page:

Firstly - MANY thanks to those of you who have already made the effort to sponsor me for my first London Marathon.  I am very proud to report that I completed in 3 hours and 41 minutes.

It was an absolutely amazing experience from the excitement of the build up to the pain of running (especially around miles 15-18) to the mix of relief and elation at crossing the finishing line.  On a personal level, I am thrilled to have done it.  However, I am also flattered by the support from those of you who have already donated - knowing that the money we have raised will make a difference to blind and partially sighted children makes the sense of pride even sweeter.

Vision is a highly efficient charity that raises funds to change the lives of Blind, Visually Impaired and Dyslexic Children. One of their main targets is a sensory room for a school for blind and visually impaired children. In addition, they are funding Schools Radio (www.schoolsradio.com) an initiative that aims to level the playing field for all children in a class room setting. The children’s ‘programmes’ will be in contention for Arqiva, Sony and Vision Awards

For those of you who still want to donate, this page will remain open and I thank you in advance for donation.

I know I said this was my first and last Marathon, but, believe it or not....I am not so sure now!!!

I appreciate all donations large or small!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
