Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Friday 30th October I will be taking part in the 'Skeleton Run'. It's a night-trail run across 5 miles of unlit, uneven terrain around Beacon Hill Country Park near Loughborough. I have completed this course once already in the daylight, and managed to raise £195 (plus Gift Aid) from family & work colleagues for the Derbyshire, Rutland & Leicestershire Air Ambulance. This time I am looking a little closer to home for a charity, and am throwing my net much wider for charitable donations....
My chosen charity is The North West Air Ambulance (NWAA). The NWAA is a regional medical air emergency service covering Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside and Cumbria. The NWAA is a registered charity that receives no mainstream funding, yet offers a vital emergency service 7 days a week, 365 days a year. They cover an area of 5,500 square miles, serving a residential population of 7 million, as well as some of the most remote countryside in the UK.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now. As it'll be the day before Halloween, if I reach my target, I'll do the run dressed as a skeleton!
