As a team we are doing this bike ride to raise much needed funds to enable the Nottingham University Hospitals Trust to get a new mammography machine. This cause is important to me as, sadly, a friend of mine lost their battle with breast cancer a few years ago. This disease is also unfortunately becoming more common and so I feel that we need to do all we can to enable early diagnosis and treatment; this machine will help NUHT be able to do this.
