25 years ago I cycled from GLasgow to Turin for charities- a distance of about 1000 miles.  This August/September I am trying to repeat the feat in order to raise funds for the Strathclyde Fire and Rescue Family Support Trust, a charity close to my own heart which provides support to serving and retired SFR colleagues and their families in times of bereavement or difficulty.
