I have wanted to swim the English Channel for some time, and it has been one of those crazy goals that you could only dream of achieving.

I am hoping the sacrifice and pain can be used to help benefit those less fortunate than ourselves. I have chosen this charity as I have previously volunteered for Crisis and have seen the good work they do first hand. I admire their work in helping the homeless and giving them somewhere to turn when all seems lost.
