Story

Hey peeps,

This isn't one of those make you feel guilty and give things- I'm not keen on those either... don't roll your eyes and delete this (you know you've done it before) but instead please have a read- my thoughts, your choice... will you really miss what you donate??!

Life is tough; we all have crappy time and hopefully our fair share of good ones too. Through our friendships and activities, we experience A LOT...

A lot of us are in the very fortunate position (yeah we've worked hard to get there) of being able to follow and live our dreams...

Pretty flippin' lucky to be able to have an idea and run with it, to see something amazing and chase after it, to want something and get it, to give someone a shout, and to share it... sure we may have to work hard for it but we're lucky in that respect as well.

I am doing another mountain biking adventure race in June which I am looking forward to immensely... Passportes du Soleil-  http://www.passportesdusoleil.com/index.jsp?SDP_CHANGE_USERLANG=en

The company I work for (Reckitt Benckiser) have a dedicated internal Save the Children project manager whom has inspired me to do something and to get you guys to do the same... not only that, but for every pound you donate, they will match it!!!

I'm figuring that's another pretty good opportunity... a good time to try and raise a bit for kids who may never get that- the chance, the opportunities, the breaks, the support...

The 'science bit' (concentrate) is at the bottom of this... It doesn't matter what you give, just do it and let's try and raise a significant amount and get it matched... I'll keep you updated with the progress of the fundraising and the racing... you open those hungry pockets and pledge a bit- do it now!!

(if you're a UK tax-payer make sure you tick the GiftAid box- so the tax man doesn't get any!)

Cheers,

Andy

Just so you know where your money will be going - watch this Save the Children film. It's crazy to think that 8 million children die each year from entirely preventable diseases like malaria and pneumonia.
