Sadly my wonderful ma,n lost his fight to this awful disease on 28th June this year . Through the illness he never lost his wicked sense of humour , fight , or his love of life . Before his chemo started we had a great 2 weeks exploring Cornwall and then as a surprise he had booked a cruise around the Canaries ,which he absolutely loved  . Unfortunately Chris was only able to have one session of chemo because he had an adverse reaction to the drugs which caused arterial blood clots !!! At this point Chris and I knew what time was left to him,a secret which we kept between us 2 . His remaining time he filled with laughter,memories and time with our family . With the help of the wonderful Macmillan staff I was able to nurse Chris at home ,as was his wish ,till his passing surrounded by our family .      I would ask those who knew him remember him with a donation on this just give page  , the more money raised will help with research for a cure for this dreadful disease  .
