Some of you already know that I am in training for the above mentioned Charity, I have been getting up most mornings to prepare myself for the big day Sunday 11 October 2009 when I will be running 13.1 miles in the Royal Parks Half Marathon and raising money for online charity YouthNet.
I was swayed to this particular charity due to the current dilemma we have with the youths of today, so I thought I would do something to help create better opportunities for young people.YouthNet offers a unique blend of information, advice and support on anything and everything a young person needs. Whether it’s emergency help in times of crisis or the chance to talk anonymously to peers or experts, YouthNet is always there for young people 24 hours a day, seven days a week through two award-winning.
The charity YouthNet is the UK's first exclusively online charity. They guide and support young people, enabling them to make educated life choices, participate in society and achieve their ambitions.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So dig deep, lift those sofa seats for spare change, empty those pockets of yours, flip those wallets and give, give, give!!websites: www.do-it.org.uk and www.TheSite.org
